Without a doubt, brunch is my favorite meal of the day. I could have it any time, at any place, and thoroughly enjoy myself because it is an entire food experience. Just ask the cheeky inclusion of bottomless mimosas. On this blog, I want to narrow in on the kind of restaurants I celebrate the Atlanta food scene - better yet, the kind of meal I gravitate towards while I'm there. I decided that the perfect way to do that is to fully embrace brunch and its many renditions as they are found and experienced while being a diner of the Atlanta brunch scene.
Today, I want to kick off my new Brunch In Atlanta series with a throwback to an old faithful, 10th & Piedmont.
On the Menu
The grilled cheese with tomato bisque and a lighter option, The Feel Good Plate, which consisted of three egg white scrambled with tomatoes and spinach, turkey sausage, yogurt, and grits. I had The Champion, a dish composed of three different meats (link sausage, bacon, and country ham) with two scrambled eggs and a buttermilk biscuit smothered in tomato gravy.
It was the thing brunch dreams are made of.
