My Everyday Skin Care Routine
Every once in a while, I think it's important to switch up your skin care routine. Your skin's needs change year to year, and sometimes season to season. If you're anything like me, your skin might also become accustomed to certain products and those products might start to lose their effectiveness over time. Recently, I started a new skin care routine and have been loving it! Keep reading to find out what skin care products I'm currently coveting in my updated skin care routine.
DHC Deep Cleansing Oil is my cleanser of choice at the moment. I've been searching high and low for an oil-based cleanser. Although it's known for how well it dissolves and removes makeup, I find it equally effective with cleansing my bare skin. I just apply two pumps on dry hands onto dry skin and massage my face with circular motions for 30-40 seconds.
The result is always clean skin that doesn't feel stripped, just incredibly moisturized.

Of note, I also double cleanse. Sometimes I use this cleanser in combination with my Cetaphil cleanser and sometimes I use a soap by Heavenly Scent.
02: Facial Spray
I usually follow-up my cleanser with my Mario Badescu facial spray. I give my face and neck a light spritz to revitalize my skin until I'm ready for my next step. Infused with Aloe Vera, Gardenia, Rose, Bladderwrack and Thyme, misting my skin gives my complexion an extra energizing boost while increasing its overall glow.
I use it throughout the day, whenever my skin needs a pick-me-up.
My preferred toner of the moment is alcohol-free and is said to be an anti-aging essential. It is a mild toner that resurfaces the skin over time, brightening it and providing balance after cleansing. I love that one of its essential ingredients as glycolic acid, which is known to correct uneven skin tone. I dab a little on my cotton pad and clean my skin with outward motions.
Part-primer, part-moisturizer, part-cleanser, part-shave cream - this moisturizer can fulfill a variety of purposes. I use it as a moisturizer. It is beloved by French women, and even though a major con is how small the container is, I can definitely see why. It leaves my skin looking radiant, silky smooth, and youthful as ever. I dot a very small amount of it on different points of my face and then I rub it in. Looking tired becomes a thing of yesterday.
